Project Overview:

This unique project won Merit a first place finish for commercial construction in the $1- $5,000,000 million dollar category. This award was presented by the heartland chapter of The Associated Building Contractors of America (ABC). After successfully completing several projects for this local businessman and developer this project was awarded to Merit on a cost plus basis. The challenges presented for the construction process was the “build as you go” since this facility was to meet the clients actual vision of the era that is representative of the interior street theme from the 40’s including but not limited to the installation and renovation of an existing street car that was present in several movies replicating that era to the train car replica being built from scratch with actual photo’s portraying this glamorous period.
